GOODTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 2 years ago I had them replace my compressor. They were cost effective, knowledgeable, and quick. However, fast-forward to present day. My compressor has went out again. Not sure if there was a warranty. Tried messaging and calling multiple times the week of Thanksgiving and even tried the Monday after in case they were on vacation. Did not return calls. I ended up having another company come out and they diagnosed the compressor as failing again. When replacing with a new unit to prevent a costly repair bill again, they said that my electrical box by my outside unit was bad and that the previous company didn't replace the filter on top of the compressor which both of these is likely why it ended up failing again. I have an older home so the compressor is not cheap to fix. I expected more than 2 years. Cordell’s has been my go to heating and AC company since 2019. I have found the company to be fair, honest and prompt. My cat got under the house and ripped open part up my ductwork. I contacted Anthony, he responded very quickly. His guys had the problem fixed in less than 2 hours of me contacting him. The serviceman was very pleasant and timely. However, they did not submit the necessary paperwork to the warranty company. We called and left several voicemails but never heard back, so we kept calling. When we finally got someone to answer , the initial story we got was everything was submitted and that the warranty company probably didn’t want to pay their share for the new AC unit. After several more days & more phone calls, the 2nd story was that the warranty company wanted additional paperwork so they were in the midst of completing it & would have it submitted by the end of the day. After a week and a 1/2, the warranty never received the paperwork, so we have been reassigned to a different company. Now we are back where we started. They were super friendly, efficient, and trustworthy!! I tried using one of the big well known HVAC companies (Corley) to replace my compressor and they quoted me over 8k!! It was unbelievable. These guys were honest and didn't try to take advantage of me. Needless to say it was $5-6k cheaper. Anthony was always kind and quick with responding to help fix my problem. The technician who came out was super respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient as well. I will definitely be calling these guys again if I should have any other problems arise. Had communication with Anthony throughout and he was able to solve my problem for a very reasonable price. I was worried they’d “find” other things wrong with it, but luckily they’re one of the good ones! They patched it up and were extremely pleasant when on site. My warranty company paid for a new unit but these clowns put in a 6 year unit and kept the new unit. My floors got messed up from leak from AC when I call everyday 20 times or more a day. No one answer my call never answer my text messagesI’m having to take them to court I strongly recommend you do not use this company they will robbed you. I didn’t cuss until me and my wife made many attempts to get in touch with you. Yes after about 50 messages yes I did cuss and I won’t apologize cause you didn’t fix the problem it’s was the same problem year and again this year. So my lawyer will be reaching out to you. We worked with Cordell's through our home warranty company for a total replacement of our AC/Gas Pack Unit. Owner is very responsive and professional. Owner said the job could take anywhere from 6-8 hours to complete. His crew got to my home a little after 9 a.m and job was complete by 1 p.m. They got the job done in about half the time! Crew was very professional and polite and answered any questions we had! I would definitely recommend Cordell's Heating and Cooling!
